I choose these pictures to suit a certain target audience, this is for adults , and i also thought about colour scheme and went for red.

I have put the images because they will attract a certain audience for example this mood board wouls attract teenagers.  

MEDIA studies evaluation-

Media Studies evaluation-

 1)  In Photoshop we did our own cover designs with Kanye West, Kelly Rowland, Rihanna, Get the look and fashion frames. The skills we used were masking which is masking round a part of someone’s body in an image, magic wand tool, rulers so it makes text in line, text box, mast head and layers so the text can go in front of the image.

In Indesign we used skills like text wrap to make text go round the person in the image, drop cap to make the first letter stand out, layers to make the text go in front of the picture, place holder text to fill the page, and to see what it looks like and stroke tool.  

When we did the writing copy we used skills like researching information to put in our work, and being able to look at information and then putting it in our own words.

When we made the script writing and storyboards, we used skills like the tab button slug line which is saying where and when, and making all names in the script in capitals and when we did the storyboards we also had to learn different camera shots and movements for example DOLLY forward/back or CRAB left/right - this was to show where the camera was going to go.

 2)  I enjoyed doing the Kelly Rowland work because it looked professional and I was happy with the finished product. I think the skill I was best at was masking the image. I also liked doing script writing because we were allowed to think what we were writing ourselves, so we could be creative plus I think I used the skills well as we had to remember to include slug lines and making sure all names were in capitals.

3)  The skills I think I was best at were masking and script writing and story boarding because I was able to remember what to do but and make it look professional.

4)  I think I could use these skills in the future because say if I wanted to be a director or photographer I would know all different camera shots and movements, for example ‘medium wide shot’ if I was taking a picture I would need to know what the shot is called.

5)  The skills I need to improve on are using place holder text and drop cap, so it looks more professional and using a mast head.

6)  To get better I could practice so it looks better and professional when I do it in my work.

Storyboard!

We made these storyboards using skills like: Slug Line, Camera shots and movements. I think it went ok, but i colud have made my pictures more clear, because thay dont look very good.

Writing Copy: Script Taxi driver.

I used microsoft word to make this. Including sluglines saying where and when, doing alignment to make it clear, effectib=ve and easy to read. And adding dialogue becasue it is a script and makeing sure its all in present tense. I think it went well becaus ei didnt need any help, to get a better grade i could help someone else.

EXT.SIDE OF THE STREET – NIGHT

HELEN stands on the pavement, on the phone to her friend FRANCESCA, gossiping about the night out ahead of them. HELEN Keeps desperately putting her hand out for a taxi.

HELEN

Ok, so you need to meet me just outside the pub i will hopefully be there in half an hour. (Talking down the phone)

HELEN finally gets the attention of one taxi driver who pulls up alongside, she gets in.

HELEN

Hi, finally got a taxi, I have been waiting for twenty five minutes! Anyway, can you take me to Brentwood high street, and there is a little pub at the end of the road. If that ok please.

HELEN waits for a reply, there was no reply.

HELEN

Umm hello...?

The TAXI DRIVER still doesn’t reply.

HELEN

Hello... Can you take me to the little pub at the end of the road, if that’s alright?

(Pause, awaiting reply)

              HELEN

Look sorry to waste to your time I will just get another taxi.

Before HELEN can get out the TAXI driver locks the doors from the inside so she can’t get out.

              HELEN

          Excuse me you just locked the door, I need to get out.

The TAXI driver ignores her and drives off.

              HELEN

Sorry this is not the way that I wanted to go its the other way, I want to go to the pub.

Yet again The TAXI driver ignores her.

              HELEN

Listen you can take this turning here to the right and still get to the pub.

The TAXI driver still doesn’t listen and goes straight on. It comes to a dead end. The engine went off, there was silence.

             

Writing copy: Script boyfriend cheating.

To do this writing copy i used microsoft word on a blank document, to do this i had to use courier new text, used a slug line which tells you where and when. including good alignment which makes it clear and easy to read. I also had to do dialogue. I think it went well becuase i didnt need any help to do it.

EXT.BUS STOP – NIGHT

JAMIE sits at the bus stop. GRACE sits down next to her, she looks worried.

GRACE

I need to tell you something...

JAMIE

          Ok, but be quick. I am going to meet JOSH.

GRACE

It’s about JOSH.

JAMIE

What about him?

JAMIE looks confused. GRACE looks hesitant bits her lip.

GRACE

Well he... he... (Stutters)

JAMIE

Spit it out!

GRACE

He cheated on you!

JAMIE

What!? He would never do that to me, he said he loved     me... (JAMIE looks hurt)

GRACE

I’m sorry you had to find out like this, but I saw him, I saw with my own eyes. Kissing someone!

JAMIE

Who did he kiss?

GRACE

Well, um... it was... it was JADE!(Blurts it out)

JAMIE

What!!!! She is supposed to be one of my best mates why would she do that to me! I hate her!

GRACE

(Cautiously) I, I might be wrong it might not have been her, I mean I couldn’t see the face quite well.

JAMIE

I know its her she has been acting weird with me for the past two weeks, I knew something was up. But I had no idea what it was!

GRACE

(Nervously) Oh please don’t tell anyone I told you, they will hate me for grassing them up!

JAMIE ponders for a second passing back and forth.

               JAMIE

I know, why don’t we trick them, then catch them together that way I will see for myself and no one thinks you have grassed them up!

GRACE

(Looks relieved) Yeah that’s a good idea!
